I bet most of you are looking forward to the long weekend, Summer Bank Holiday in the UK. I'm working my usual shift but I do get Monday off as they don't need the cover in work this time, that means 2 days in 1 day off and then another 2 day...nice little break up of the week and my 'Friday' will be here in no time! yaaay... or is that me just wishing my life away again?? lol

It's been a while since I've baked anything so today I'm gonna get stuck in, thinking of brownies and maybe an apple cake. I'm more of a savoury girl when it comes to food but I've been craving something sweet this week so this should break the back of my craving. I'll be taking most of the bakes into work tomorrow to share out otherwise I'd just end up chucking it away. 

I'll post pics when they're done... good or bad you'll get to see them (wonder if I should apologise now?? lol) 

And now I'm off to make some soup, still got the apple cake to make as well ... wonder if that will happen?? :)

Well the soup didn't get made but the apple cake did! It's one of Rachel Allens, not liking the 'glaze' as it's far too sweet for me but the cake itself is delicious!!
